Lauren Nickodemus is the 29 year-old co-founder and director of Monstrous Regiment Publishing, a small indie press with an intersectional feminist ethos that tackles topics around sexuality, gender, and class. Since 2017 she and her co-director Ellen Desmond have released 6 publications including The Bi-ble: Essays and Personal Narratives about Bisexuality and So Hormonal: A Collection of Essays on Hormones. In addition to running MRP, she woks as a publishing project manager by day and writes speculative fiction in her spare time. Originally hailing from Michigan, she moved to Scotland in 2016 to purue an MSc Publishing degree and now calls Edinburgh home.
