I am a part of the UNICEF UK Youth Advisory Board (21-23), during my time on the board I took part in a plethora of opportunities including; collaboratively interviewing Martin Compston and Alex Brooker at Soccer Aid for UNICEF training week, interviewing Sir Chris Hoy at a UNICEF UK photography exhibition and travelling to the 94th Pre-session meeting, held in Geneva, where I spoke to the Committee on the Rights of the Child about rights-related issues impacting children across the UK.

My passion for youth action started when I joined the Young Scot health panel at the age of 14 (digitally), which involved collaborating on the Aye Feel campaign and interviewing Prof. Jason Leitch regarding the pandemic and health inequalities in Scotland, which sparked my ever-growing interest in youth voice.

I was a Young Scot COP26 Panel Member and a part of the ‘Youth STEM 2030’ Summit 2021 design team. This all led to becoming a current Youth STEM 2030 Core team member, Scotland’s Young People’s Forest Project member, and #IWill Ambassador.

Through being an Active Schools ambassador, I help facilitate sports sessions, making them more accessible for all pupils, as well as improving mental health support. I strive to empower other young people, which has included leading assemblies and lessons on a variety of topics. During my free time I lifeguard and take part in a range of Scouting activities alongside playing clarinet in local orchestras and bands. I also photograph school events to showcase and ensure pupils in my school community get recognition for the phenomenal talent and hard work they have put in.
