Our policy and influencing works to highlight young women’s inequality in Scotland and make recommendations to ensure young women’s voices and experiences are recognised and amplified to challenge systemic inequality.

We co-develop our policy work with young women, ensuring their voices and experiences are at the heart of our consultation responses. We also develop parliamentary briefings to inform debates in the Scottish Parliament. This necessarily covers a wide range of policy areas, including those traditionally seen as topics of concern to young women, and those where more effort is needed to include their voices and experiences. The Research and Policy team coordinates and responds to policy and legislative issues affecting young women and girls, ensuring that our policy positions are reflective of young women’s voices, opinions and needs.
