We work to ensure young women’s voices and experiences are valued and amplified in places where decisions are made that impact on their lives. We want young women and girls’ needs and rights to be met, and we believe in a society where everyone has the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest. We work with an understanding that power needs to be rebalanced in Scotland and beyond, and we seek to elevate the voices and experiences of young women and girls to challenge systemic inequality. 

Current research and policy opportunities

We’re working with Scottish Women’s Budget Group to find out how the cost of living crisis is affecting young women in Scotland.

If you’re 16–35, please share your experiences in our short, anonymous survey. This will help us understand the issues affecting young women in Scotland as a result of the cost of living crisis, thereby allowing us to engage with government and local authorities on ways to improve the lives of young women through gender-inclusive policies and practices.
